Deadly Data: A Top-Tier Star's Holographic Crossing

Fatal Data is set in the future virtual idol industry and tells the story of Nie Sa, a mechanical prosthetics engineer, and Lan Xun, a holographic concert planner, as they go from enemies to partners. The two meet after a data accident: Nie Sa sneaks backstage at Lan Xun’s show to investigate the core code of Deep Blue Memories, but accidentally shares neural impulses with him amid a torrent of data. As corporate power plays, hacker assassins, and an escape across the sea unfold, they go from mistrusting each other to joining forces against Donghai Group’s dark web conspiracy. Forbidden feelings also take root amid repeated getaways on maglev motorcycles and neural connections. When the two are forced to compete in a virtual idol survival show, Nie Sa’s arrogance sparks against Lan Xun’s restraint, and a “stolen kiss in the play of light and shadow” amid New Year’s Eve holographic fireworks exposes their secret relationship for good. Blending sci-fi action, a battle of equals, and delicate emotions, the story explores humanity’s resolve and freedom in the age of data.
