A small band of bandits abducts two children on their way home from school. One is Hou Wen, the second son of the wealthy landowner Hou Yimiao. The other is Yue Ling’er, the daughter of Hou Yimiao’s sworn brother, his second-in-command. Their fathers search for them, but no one can find the children. Later, they are rescued by the large bandit gang on Houfeng Mountain.
