Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty, also known as Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, was the seventh emperor of the Tang Dynasty. During his reign, he implemented a series of political, economic and cultural reforms and was a visionary and ambitious emperor. However, he was politically derelict due to his excessive indulgence in pleasure and doting on Concubine Yang.
Concubine Yang, formerly known as Yang Yuhuan, was a court lady of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. Because of her beauty, she became the favorite of Emperor Ming. She has outstanding talents, is good at singing and dancing, and is deeply loved and favored by the emperor. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty loved Concubine Yang so much that he even abolished the title of concubine for her, making Yang Guifei the only queen.
