A Special Forces Soldier Transmigrates to the Late Qing and Becomes Emperor

Nie Feng, captain of the special forces unit Dark Blade, was on a mission to cover his teammates when he unexpectedly transmigrated into the body of Emperor Guangxu in the late Qing dynasty. He contended with Empress Dowager Cixi in the palace while secretly building up his own forces. Determined to reform the political system, Nie Feng established a new army and punished corrupt officials. Through intelligence work, espionage, and special operations, he broke apart the sinking Qing dynasty, beset by internal and external threats, and built a new nation in its place. Democracy and freedom would ensure the people were no longer oppressed.
