A Love Song of War and Alliance Across the Mountains and Rivers

At the end of the Southern Song, the land is shattered and the court grovels before its enemies, ceding territory and paying tribute in a bid to preserve its own peace. Chu Xing, from Peian Village, watched the Jin guards slaughter his adoptive parents when he was young, and was rescued by the Xingyue Alliance. There, he meets Lin Yiran, a clever and quirky junior sister. They train together and grow up side by side, going from bickering and teasing to fighting shoulder to shoulder as affection quietly blossoms between them. In these troubled times, they join hands to fight for justice and independence, writing a passionate and romantic tale of chivalry.
