Pang Qin Aleksei, an E Army soldier who has fought in many campaigns, including the Ten-Day War and the Croatian War, has extensive combat experience. Every day, he lives with his life on the line. When war breaks out in Eastern Europe, he naturally joins the conflict as a mercenary. But during one battle, his troop transport is hit by an airstrike and blown into the sea. By sheer luck, he doesn’t drown, and is swept ashore on a beach in Kivotos. By another stroke of luck, he stumbles into the Abydos Autonomous District. Is this misfortune or good fortune…? Perhaps it’s a chance to start a new life.
