The School Rules Targeted Me From the Start, So I Flipped the Table

Jin Qichen entered Glen High School full of anticipation, thinking he was about to begin a high school life where he could freely pursue his dreams. But reality dealt him a brutal face-slapping on the very first day. The school’s strict rules controlled every aspect of life, from daily schedules to studying and everything in between. The crushing workload left him and his classmates struggling to breathe.

The roommates he met in the dormitory bungalow all had different personalities, but they shared a resentment of the school’s oppressive system. Their rebellious feelings kept building: from their initial shock at the rules, to struggling to keep up in class, the stifling atmosphere during breaks, and the awful food in the cafeteria.

A discussion during evening study hall planted the first seeds of an idea to change things. Even after their teacher harshly reprimanded them, the fire of rebellion was already blazing in their hearts. They resolved to break out of the cage restraining their youth, and a struggle against the school’s unreasonable system was about to begin.
