[Secret romance + strong, independent heroine + powerful, devoted hero + love at first sight]
Medical doctor Fu Xiao falls in love with Shen Qingning at first sight and finally gets his chance when she breaks up with her boyfriend.
Fu Xiao: “Teacher Shen, want to witness a medical miracle? My heart is beating more than twenty times faster per minute right now.”
Shen Qingning: “If you’re sick, go get treated. Stop wasting my time!”
Later, Fu Xiao tries to win her over by stepping back, but Shen Qingning finds herself falling for him all over again. That night, emboldened by drink, she pins Fu Xiao against the doorway. “Why did you stop pursuing me?”
