I Work in HR in Ancient Times

Historical Romance, Wild Imagination, Transmigration, Workplace, Comedy, Happy Ending

Xiao Shi, an HR professional, has ten years of experience under his belt. After years of trials and tribulations, he has worked at a foreign company that stifled its employees, a private company that pinched pennies and ground people down, and a state-owned enterprise rife with office politics and backstabbing. Then one day, after his boss ordered him to revise a project proposal for the umpteenth time, he finally snapped. Unable to stomach the boss's sickening, perverse behavior any longer, he grabbed a weapon and beat him up!

Xiao Shi expected to receive a court summons and a notice from the police, but when he woke up, he discovered he had transmigrated. Having watched countless transmigration dramas and read plenty of romance novels, he had assumed he would become a heroine born into a wealthy family or living in a palace. At the very least, he thought he would end up in a merchant family, with plenty to eat and drink...

Who could have guessed that from the start, he would become a ragged, destitute slave girl being sold off?

"I'm a modern-day HR professional, a 'people peddler' with ten years in the business, and the first time I transmigrate, I'm the one being sold? No, no, no! My professional ethics won't let my career end in such humiliating failure...", Shi Jingmo

Follow HR professional Shi Jingmo as, after going nowhere in the modern workplace, he starts over in a new place, builds his career from scratch, and overcomes one obstacle after another on his way to a bright future, gaining success, friendship, family, and love in this entertaining and hilarious story!
