“Take a good look: this woman is called Luo Yingxi. Ying is the Ying in Luo Yingxi, and Xi is the Xi in Luo Yingxi. She’s the embodiment of a glutton and the queen of making trouble. She transmigrated into a book, and she even got me, her adorable little space sprite. My name is Gangdan.”
Luo Yingxi: “I’ll count to three. Change that opening, or I’ll crush you!”
Gangdan: “Eek!”
My name is Luo Yingxi. I used to be a floor supervisor at a large shopping mall in Spring City in the 21st century. My unscrupulous boss worked me so hard that I died suddenly after a string of consecutive overtime shifts. After I died, I never expected to transmigrate into the body of another Luo Yingxi, a doomed princess consort in the fictional Great Yu Dynasty.
The original Luo Yingxi was the daughter of the Great General Who Guards the North. The general’s accomplishments had become so great that he overshadowed the emperor, making His Majesty deeply wary of him. During a campaign against the northern barbarians, he was deliberately killed by his own side, leaving the General Who Guards the North’s household in name only.
With the general dead, the only person at court who still made the emperor wary was his younger brother, Prince Cheng, Mo Junlin.
The emperor then arranged for Luo Yingxi to marry the lovestruck Prince Mo Junlin. His trusted eunuch told her, under the guise of honoring the great general, that the main reason the general had died was that Prince Cheng had been too cowardly to save him.
Mo Junlin already had someone else in his heart, and he knew the emperor had begun plotting to kill him. As a result, he treated the original Luo Yingxi cruelly and even wanted to get rid of her.
Years later, in the imposing Hall of Supreme Harmony, hundreds of officials knelt and cried out in unison: “We pay our respects to the Empress! May you live a thousand years, a thousand years, ten thousand years!”
I came to comment after reading Chapter 55 and found that the title of the book is a bit inconsistent, but the content is pretty good. I support the author to continue to write better plots and hope to update it soon.
I feel good after reading the first chapter and looking forward to the follow-up plot.
It's particularly beautiful, the author's writing is fluent, and the plot is lively and interesting.
