I Want a 2029 with You

[Love at first sight + choosing each other wholeheartedly + sweet romance] [Heroine with a mental illness + hero who lost both parents] Han Xinying raises her head, tears shimmering in her eyes. “Then did you know that the QQ secret messages you received in ninth grade were sent by me?” Jiang Shenghan rubs his head, smiling blissfully. “I knew. I guessed it was you as soon as I got the first one.” She opens the bathroom window. The crescent moon shines down, its silvery light falling on her wrist, where the veins stand out clearly. Her trembling hand holds a craft knife against her pulsing wrist. Just as she is about to cut, she remembers Jiang Shenghan’s words: “As long as you’re alive, there’s always hope.” Jiang Shenghan smiles even more happily. He notices Han Xinying watching him without blinking. He calms down, blushes, and says to her, “This is my promise to you. Everything listed here is all I have right now. I’m giving it all to you today.” Unable to sleep, he picks up his phone and looks at the photo of himself and Han Xinying on the screen. The corners of his mouth lift slightly. He closes his eyes and repeats, “Han Xinying, I really like you so much. I won’t let you lose.” I want to invite you to spend New Year’s Eve, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day with me in 2029. And I want to invite you to spend every New Year’s Eve, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day after that with me too. Han Xinying, will you marry me?
