Qingwan Like the Moon, Zhendong Like the Sun

She is the heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, cool as the moon and gentle as water.

He is a king on the Olympic stage, tough as steel and passionate as fire.

On the eve of the Paris Olympics, Shen Qingwan enters Fan Zhendong’s world as the Sports Bureau’s chief of traditional Chinese medicine therapy.

With her slender fingers, she eases the pain in his shoulder. With her gentle voice, she dispels the anxiety in his heart.

He is her responsibility, and the tenderest concern in her heart.

Through the tense months of Olympic preparations, she uses acupuncture and massage to relieve his fatigue, and soothing tea to chase away his insomnia.

He is a champion who shines on the court, yet in front of her, he lowers every guard, all for one tender glance.

She is cool as the moon, yet lights a warm lamp for him;

He is tough as steel, yet reveals his softest side to her.

This is a story of dreams and devotion.

Behind the glory of the Olympics

lies every step of the path she clears for him with a healer’s heart.

Your radiance is like moonlight, and I’ll walk the healing path by your side.

I’ll stand shoulder to shoulder with you in glory.
