In his youth, Qiu Suiyan, the young lord of the secluded Ailao Mountain clan and the Daoist Venerable Zewu, saw his family wiped out and his origin damaged. As he lay gravely wounded and close to death, he was saved by An Liyu, the Daoist Venerable Qingyu and master of Sword Peak, the first great sect in the world, Xiaoyao Sect. The two later became Dao companions.
Qingyu fell in love with Zewu at first sight and doted on him throughout his recovery. Later, when he discovered that Zewu cultivated the Heartless Dao, he was gloomy for a time. But Zewu’s “special” treatment of him led Qingyu to convince himself that Zewu must have feelings for him. At least, surely Qingyu had a place in Zewu’s heart!
Yet in the end, with all living beings facing disaster, Zewu resolutely sacrificed himself to bring peace to the world, leaving Qingyu consumed by grief. What will Qingyu do now? Will they ever meet again...
