Study blogger Ning Qiqing dies suddenly after working late for too long. Afterward, she finds herself inside a cultivation novel about the struggle for power, as an unlucky soul who became the strongest sect leader through sheer strength, only to be framed and killed.
After learning how the story is supposed to unfold, she types a question mark. “She became the strongest alliance leader through sheer strength, but gets killed by a schemer? Did she trade her brains for her strength?”
The System, panicking and breaking into a cold sweat, gives a stiff explanation: “That's why we need your wisdom to lead the sect's development.”
Ning Qiqing: “Right.”
To get its Host to agree to complete the mission, the System coaxes and cajoles her: “Sweetie, there's a chance we can go back and see your mom!”
Ning Qiqing: “That reminds me, it's better to let professionals handle professional matters.”
And so Ning Qiqing begins her cultivation journey.
Except...
You know, the sect disciples see each other every day and exchange secret codes daily. Is something wrong with them?
Ning Qiqing: “Something's off. Very off.”
In the days that follow, Ning Qiqing devotes herself to teaching her disciples. She discovers that if they're not fools, then it must be the fault of those belonging to other religions!
The plot is supposed to reach its critical turning point, but by then, Ning Qiqing has already joined in.
First disciple: “Huh? Sect Leader, call on Heaven to judge who's loyal and who's a traitor!”
Second disciple: “Wait, wasn't I the only one sent to infiltrate them?”
Third disciple: “Odd or even? Are you OK? A fellow from back home!”
Little disciple: “Sect Leader, what secret code? I don't know any! I do know I'm your most loyal blade, Sect Leader!”
*A cultivation story starring an empress and a powerful female lead. The heroine is sweet on the outside and dark at heart. Ensemble cast, plot-focused, no main romance, but there will be bonus chapters, with the male lead chosen by a vote.
The author listens very much and feels that he is making progress all the time. He hopes to bring better works to us in the future. Looking forward to (*^o^*)
