The Power of Incense Bestows Fortune Upon Me; I Shall Become a God If I Survive!

My mother is strange. She won’t let me go out during the day, sets up a memorial tablet for me and burns incense before it every day, and warns me never to eat people. If I get hungry, I should eat candles.

Most people in the village are afraid of me, so I don’t have many friends.

A widow hanging from a crooked tree, a teacher keeping watch over a mass grave, and an old man sitting motionless at the village entrance, waiting to die.

Then one day, I discovered that none of them were human.

My name is Wu Xin. I eat immortal pills from tombs, devour yin-yang incense offerings, and fight for my life against evil spirits everywhere. Then I discovered...

Could I be the evil spirit???
