The story of the Hero Himmel and his party as they journey to the Demon King’s castle, defeat the Demon King, and save the world, as well as the hero’s love for a clueless elf.
Himmel: “Frieren, get up. We’ll miss the town’s festival if you don’t.”
Frieren: “Himmel, let me sleep a little longer.” With that, she lay there without moving.
Heiter: “Eisen, don’t stop me. Let me teach this lazy elf a lesson!”
Eisen silently stood in Heiter’s way.
Himmel: “Frieren, hold out your hand.”
Frieren looked at Himmel, who was down on one knee. She seemed not to understand, tilting her head as she gazed at him in confusion.
But her body moved without hesitation, and she held out her hand to Himmel.
Himmel supported Frieren’s hand, took out a ring, and slipped it onto her finger.
The clueless elf let the Hero of Flowers show his love for her without restraint.
“Frieren, I’m sorry I can’t walk beside you any longer. I hope this azure sky keeps you from feeling lonely.”
One hundred years after Himmel’s death.
Looking at the moonflower Himmel had once mentioned, Frieren seemed to remember something.
She lowered her head to gaze at the moonflower and murmured, “I think I might have loved Himmel.”
