Divine Sin: A Fated Oath

Do you believe in fate? Perhaps everything in life is guided in secret by some higher-dimensional being?

“Eleven knocks,

the song of Mother Earth.”

The surviving boy clutches a breathing stone.

Ashes from the fires of war are reflected in his right eye,

while his left sees his sister beneath a kilometer of rock,

feeding the serpent that devours starlight

with the butterfly pendant he gave her.

When you say you’ll defy fate,

have you ever heard another version of yourself laughing

in the echoes of a pickaxe striking the rock wall?
