I have a lot of regrets about high school, as well as regrets concerning my family, and my goal in going to college is to make up for them. That includes high school romance, which will absolutely never get in the way of studying. It’s only there to make up for what I missed. I started writing after the high school entrance exams. The first volume covers the transition from middle school to high school. Starting right off with high school would feel too abrupt; it wouldn’t make sense for the protagonist to suddenly become a top student.
The second volume covers high school. The first year is about laying a foundation, and I won’t skip over it. I’ll skim through some less important parts, like NBA games. In the second year, I’ll give the protagonist some challenges, such as having trouble adjusting to his studies, and let him overcome them bit by bit. There will also be some setbacks, but his grades will never be too bad. After all, exam results vary, and other people are improving too. If he always came first, there’d be no competition. The second year involves some review, so there may be quite a lot of questions, and I’ll include them in the novel.
In the third year, the protagonist will face some choices for various reasons, as well as online classes and a delayed start to the school year, which he won’t adapt to easily. See how he handles it. The high school section will be fairly long. I’ll skim through the college section. The protagonist has a very sound outlook on life.
