A strange world. When he set foot on this planet, everywhere he looked was utterly silent and still. There were no crowds, nor any sign of a single friend, as if he were the only person left in the entire world.
Yet just as he was filled with confusion and helplessness, a girl appeared in his field of vision. On her chest was an oddly shaped object, giving off a mysterious, faint glow on this desolate planet.
The boy's gaze was drawn to the object on the girl's chest, which radiated an uncanny light, and he found himself walking toward her. The girl seemed to notice him approaching and slowly raised her head. Their eyes met, and both of them wore expressions of surprise and confusion.
"Who... are you? How did you end up here?" the boy asked first, breaking the silence. His voice sounded especially jarring on the quiet planet. The girl furrowed her brow slightly, a hint of wariness flashing in her eyes, and retorted, "I should be asking you that. I've lived here all my life, and I've never seen anyone like you suddenly appear out of nowhere."
The boy scratched his head and roughly explained how he had inexplicably wound up on this planet. After hearing him out, the wariness in the girl's eyes eased a little, replaced by a hint of curiosity. "I've never heard of anything so bizarre. Perhaps there's some unknown secret behind it."
Just then, a strange rumbling sound came from far away, like some kind of large machine operating. The two exchanged a look and saw tension and unease in each other's eyes. "What was that sound?" The boy instinctively clenched his fists. The girl's expression turned grave, and she said quietly, "I'm not sure, but it feels..."
