My parents-in-law participated in the War to Resist U. S. Aggression and Aid Korea and died heroically, leaving behind their young husband. Later, my husband and I got married and had a daughter, and then went to the border to protect our family and country. When he came back, there were only his ashes and a first-class meritorious official plaque. From then on, my daughter and I depended on each other and had no relatives.
