Twenty-five years ago, the Demon Realm and the Evil Spirit Realm joined forces to breach the human world, plunging the land into chaos!
Although Mount Shu had a long and storied legacy and sent all its disciples down the mountain to exterminate demons and defend the righteous, even they were helpless in the face of such a disaster. All life was laid to waste.
With no other choice, the five elders of Mount Shu practiced the sect’s forbidden art: the Purification Technique!
By purging every wicked thought from their minds, the five elders greatly increased their power and quickly resolved the crisis. But those wicked thoughts were not part of the Six Realms. Though weak for now, they could not be destroyed, so the elders had no choice but to seal them away.
At the same time, during the disaster, a baby born in a small mountain village lost his entire family to demons and evil spirits. By chance, the five elders brought him back to Mount Shu.
Unexpectedly, the baby had been born amid the demons’ rampage. Evil energy had entered his body, leaving him frail from birth and strangely drawn to demonic things. Then, as the five elders sealed away the wicked thoughts, a tremendous aura of evil spirits swept across Mount Shu, shattering the baby’s soul.
But another soul came with it, from the modern world: Chang An! After an accident killed him in the modern world, his soul crossed countless realms and entered the baby’s body. And so, the child who should have died on Mount Shu, leaving no mark on the future, miraculously survived.
At its heart, this isn’t a story about giving someone cheat-like powers to instantly conquer the world and make up for past regrets. It’s simply about making a few changes to the plot, adding someone who grows alongside the main cast, and working hard to make up for those regrets.
Why is it that no one who wrote Fairy Sword III was able to finish it? Basically all of them are eunuchs. I'm convinced.
