After dying from staying up all night editing videos, modern food blogger and craft enthusiast Su Mujin transmigrates into the body of a country girl with the same name.
From the start, her family of four is driven out of their home by her paternal grandmother and second uncle’s family. They have no rice to cook, her sick younger brother is on the verge of death, and she is forced to take in a disabled man with amnesia.
Luckily, the belongings she scavenges from the man tide them over for the time being.
Taking the attitude that since she’s here, she might as well make the best of it, she gathers termitomyces mushrooms, sells spring bamboo shoots, makes soap, brews wine... Using her modern skills, she leads her whole family to prosperity.
Just as life is starting to look up, a famine strikes. The court’s inaction leaves Su Mujin’s family with no choice but to flee.
Fortunately, she has a storage space and plenty of food and supplies stocked up, so the journey is dangerous but uneventful.
But then, the man she picked up suddenly disappears along the way, and no one knows where he has gone.
When she sees him again, he is Prince Chen, Pei Jiuming, protector of the people in his domain.
Su Mujin wants to pretend she doesn’t know him, but the shameless man clings to her like a piece of plaster and refuses to leave.
He even has the nerve to say, “Miss Su, are you really not going to tease me anymore?”
Su Mujin rolls her eyes. “Get lost!”
Su Mujin the first time she sees Pei Jiuming: Pitying a man brings bad luck, and spending money on a man brings a lifetime of it.
Later, on the road to escape the famine, bodies float everywhere, corpses litter the land for miles, and people are forced to sell their children for food. After witnessing too many tragedies, Su Mujin says, “Pei Jiuming, how much silver does it take to start a rebellion? I’ll earn it all for you. Go on, overthrow this rotten empire!”
The setting of the novel is quite interesting, especially making delicious food and making handicrafts are very fun (noodles with chicken and fir oil! I really want to eat it, it made my mouth water). Also, the heroine grows up and slowly earns money. The process is also very realistic. There is no exaggeration about suddenly making a lot of money. All in all, it is a very good novel. I am looking forward to the subsequent plot. The author will update it soon!!
It's good-looking. It focuses on how a female protagonist makes money and how to escape from poverty. I'll mention it later. The male protagonist's presence is very low, but it's not bad and good-looking. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's good to read and has chapters.
I feel like it's not just a word count, at least I feel like I'm involved when I read it, it's okay, it doesn't feel the same.
