I Was Once the Only Wildflower in a Rose Garden

I'm a "monster" who can't inherit my loved one's ability.

Tracing a love story in the memoirs of my ordinary life would be absurd.

It was more like meeting someone headed the same way as I was, swept along by time, and walking a few extra steps together.

Now it's time to say goodbye. I don't dare ask them to stay, so all I can do is give them a proper farewell.

Life is shaped by countless forks in the road, and right now we're simply standing at a point where we have no choice but to say goodbye.

Come on, say goodbye. Say... we'll never meet again.

Then a boy suddenly appeared, piercing through the mist. He reached out to me with warmth and said, "Little Stutterer, don't be afraid."

I dedicate this short story to all of us, stumbling along and trying our best to grow into adults.

Forward, without looking back.
