When Wang Yingshuang opens her eyes, she knows she has transmigrated.
The bad news: she has become Madam Wang, the hypocritical and venomous character from Dream of the Red Chamber.
The good news: she has only just married, so there is still time to support her husband and raise their children well.
Determined to rewrite the fates of the women of the Dream of the Red Chamber, Wang Yingshuang talks Jia Zheng into taking the imperial exams while earning a little money on the side. Her eldest son, Jia Zhu, passes with flying colors; her second daughter, Yuanchun, becomes the emperor’s favorite; and all the girls, Daiyu, Baochai, Tanchun, Xiangyun, and the rest, gather around her for hugs and cuddles. She couldn’t be happier! Wait, Jia Baoyu? Maybe you’d better stay away!
