A lighthearted, hilarious novel that will have you in stitches. Xia Tieguang is killed when a mischievous kid's Thunder King firecracker blows up in a cellar well. He then arrives in a mysterious space, where he gains a divine soul and a wordless Heavenly Book. But his rotten luck follows him: after piling up a mountain of debt, he flees to Longyin Sect to cultivate.
He becomes a disciple of Cao Jun, the sect master of Longyin Sect. By a stroke of luck, he earns the approval of the ninth-rank anomaly Azu Po, who passes on everything she knows.
After a year of cultivation in Shenyin Sect, the 5A Atlas Anomalous Realm celestial body draws near Earth, triggering an outbreak of anomalies and strengthening their powers. Following his master's instructions, Xia Tieguang completes his training and descends the mountain.
There, he meets a group of friends: Huang Junjie, Shi Yuanhu, Li Lemei, Xiao Liangyu, and others. They start a small company called Guangjie Movers and encounter all sorts of paranormal incidents, including transmigrating into a book, possession, body snatching, and curses. They also help security captain Zeng Xiaoyu solve a number of difficult anomalous cases.
As the story unfolds, they are drawn into a place called the City of Anomalies, where they meet its lord, Xiao Yingying. Together, they thwart a series of conspiracies and restore peace between the City of Anomalies and the human world.
Very nice!
