Who gets it, folks?! A nuclear wastewater leak turns the world into a terrifying stage overrun by dancing zombies and rampaging mutant creatures. Human civilization is wiped clean overnight, and the reset button is slammed hard. While everyone else is still fighting zombies for their lives in the ruins and scavenging for food, Lin Lin defies fate and is reborn, even getting a mysterious "Doomsday System" as a bonus. Isn't that basically a cheat code for the apocalypse?
After being reborn, Lin Lin's ambition goes through the roof. She is determined not to be some anonymous nobody in the apocalypse, but a great hero, and to build an impregnable doomsday inn. Armed with the System as her "golden finger," she struggles through the ruins, gathering resources and building defenses. She also goes around "picking people up," bringing a group of homeless survivors into the inn. What a lineup: a "battle maniac" with maxed-out combat skills, a "repair master" with nimble hands, and a "kitchen ace" with superb cooking skills. A truly deluxe apocalypse dream team.
As the inn's "business" grows, trouble comes one thing after another. The zombies "clock in" at the entrance every day, while mutant creatures treat the place like a "playground" for wreaking havoc. Fortunately, everyone believes that "unity is strength," and with the System lending a helping hand now and then, they manage to turn a battered warehouse into a "beacon of hope" in the apocalypse.
No matter how dark the apocalypse gets, it cannot shake Lin Lin and her friends' resolve to rebuild their home. They embark on one adventure after another, exploring unknown regions, searching for precious resources, and going toe-to-toe with all kinds of powerful mutant creatures. But however outrageous their adventures get, they always believe that as long as they stand united, there is no obstacle they cannot overcome in the apocalypse!
