The Quest for the Supernatural

Lin Yu lives in a remote mountain village and knows the spirit-fantasy world only through a few legends. When he is sixteen, spirit-fantasy masters from the Spirit-Fantasy Continent come to the village to hold an awakening ceremony. During the ritual, Lin Yu unexpectedly awakens the Flame Phoenix, a powerful spirit-fantasy beast that astonishes everyone. But it also attracts the greed of people with ill intentions. When the village is attacked, Lin Yu uses the Flame Phoenix's power to protect the villagers, only to learn that his origins may be tied to a vast conspiracy on the Spirit-Fantasy Continent. Lin Yu therefore decides to leave the village and head for the continent's central city, Spirit-Fantasy City, to seek the truth and grow stronger.
