The story begins at Qingyun Sect, a human sect renowned for its swordsmanship, located in the spirit-rich Qingyun Mountains. Humans and demons appear to live in peace, but undercurrents churn beneath the surface. The demon race grows ever stronger, while infighting over power causes humanity to decline.
