The plot is pretty good and the writing is OK, but I personally don't like the characters.
The two biggest problems are probably the protagonist and Vulpix.
Vulpix is simply a master who goes too far and combines the naughty little boy and the cute and willful little girl.
As for the protagonist, I don't know how to describe it. In the early stage, it was quite normal. He saved Pokémon, saved humans, and gave selfless teachings.
