Wandering Through the Past

I solemnly promise that the protagonists have no golden fingers, no protagonist halo, and the supporting characters won't be dumbed down. Everyone solves the mysteries together. There are no idiots here; only the most cautious and clever people deserve to be part of the protagonist group in my story.

The good news is that Lin You and some students from a few other classes in her grade don't have to go to school anymore.

The bad news is that there's a real threat of death.

It's pretty simple. Their homeroom teacher told them to go clean the haunted Yi Fu Building after school.

Lin You stuck to the principle that when the ruler orders a subject to die, the subject has no choice but to die, and went to clean the place with a few classmates. Then the haunting started, and she got herself trapped inside.

Now she wishes she'd never gone.

What did they go through? More or less, they were chased by terrifying things and nearly died, mysteriously dragged into a ghost marriage, and, just when they thought they'd finally made it back, they did return, but why was the school full of ghosts? After reluctantly giving in, they ended up at an abandoned tourist estate. So much for the exciting trip they'd been promised. What even is this place...

It seems I've ended up in a medieval magical world again, but it doesn't quite look right. Why are there things from the real world here?

This time I've come to the mountains. There's scenery and water, but somehow the most important thing about a vacation, freedom, is missing...

Maybe it was all those high-intensity instances over such a long time, but I died, on a snowy night.

I thought I'd become a lunatic and return to the real world, but I'm still here in the instance, along with the people who died in it.

I can't help wondering: Is the world real?
