What’s it like to become the heroine in a hundred and fourteen love letters from the cool guy?

My name is Xia Li. I possess a Forbidden Ruin... I’m a god’s proxy... I’m an outcast... Why did you choose me to be your god’s proxy? Why can’t I die...

“I just want to stay alive...”

A mother who died young, a father who vanished, and a girl left in pieces...

“Why does everyone hate me...”

Then I met him... He took hold of my shadow with his own hands. Whenever I fell apart, he was always there to pick up the pieces...

“You told me I was the best...”

Shen Qingzhu: “I think I’ve fallen for a girl. She’s beautiful, kind, and top of her class. I can’t measure up to her in any way. I studied hard and got into the same high school as her, just so I could be closer to her. But she’s so wonderful, she must like people who are just as wonderful. So I could only keep my feelings hidden. While we went to the same school, I wrote her so many love letters. Then one day, I didn’t see her in her usual seat by the window. After that, she was nowhere to be found: not by the window, not under the trees, not on the road home... Until I saw her again at the training camp...”

“What is unrequited love? It’s the step you’re too afraid to take, the silent pursuit, the endless daydreaming. It’s impossible...”

“No! It’s possible! Shen Qingzhu... I’ve loved you for a long time.”

“Xia Li, if you like me, could you like only me?”
