Monsters suddenly appeared in modern society, leaving humanity at a loss. In this desperate situation, people who could wield "qi" stood up to maintain stability between the monsters and human society.
Wu Yun'an was born with the "qi" needed to fight monsters. He joined the Department of Monster Affairs and fought with all his might against these powerful creatures.
He grew stronger along the way and learned the truth about the monsters. The Fire God descended, blessed him, and granted him power.
Only after he personally cut off the head of a demigod monster did he learn the truth about this world.
