A Musclebound Hunk Falls for Me

Behind the bustle of the prosperous city, ordinary office worker Liu San leads a monotonous life, shuttling between home and work. Years of desk work and a lack of exercise have left him weak, with fat gathering around his waist and his confidence slowly worn away by time.

By chance, Liu San passes a gym and is drawn in by the powerful physiques of the muscular men inside. There, he meets A Li, an outgoing and enthusiastic fitness coach, and Da Zhuang, a heavily muscled gym-goer. A Li sees Liu San’s determination and decides to train him personally, while Da Zhuang readily shares his fitness experience to help Liu San begin his journey.

But the road to fitness is far from easy. Liu San faces countless setbacks in training. The soreness and his imperfect form make him want to give up more than once. Still, with encouragement from A Li and Da Zhuang, he grits his teeth and keeps going.

Meanwhile, several women with very different personalities join the gym. Lin Yue, an enthusiastic and cheerful fitness buff, is always ready to lend a hand when Liu San runs into trouble and teach him practical techniques. The haughty Shen Meng scoffs at Liu San’s efforts and frequently mocks him. The gentle and kind Su Yao looks after Liu San when he gets injured, giving him warmth and care.

In this gym filled with sweat and laughter, Liu San must face not only physical challenges, but also complicated relationships.
