The Promise Is Broken! Princess Lingxuan Goes on a Rampage

In the autumn of the thirtieth year of Emperor Xuanwu's reign in Great Qian, Crown Prince Murong Jingxing insisted on ending his engagement to Bai Xinglan, the Junzhu of Lingxuan from the Duke of Zhenguo's household, so that he could make Lin Wan'er, the prime minister's illegitimate daughter, his crown princess. He knelt before the emperor for an entire day and night. Even when he enraged the emperor and was harshly rebuked by the empress, he refused to back down.

Bai Xinglan was clever, decisive, and fiercely outspoken. She chose to join forces with Prince Chen.
