Starting in 2030, humanity finally begins to suffer the consequences of the harm it has inflicted on Mother Earth.
In 2024, Japan takes the lead in dumping nuclear wastewater, and other countries follow suit, leaving vast stretches of ocean contaminated.
At first, people do take notice, but all they see is marine life dying in huge numbers.
Humanity initially pays it no mind. First, plants and animals in the sea begin to mutate. Gradually, land animals and plants begin changing as well, until at last humanity too begins to mutate.
Year 55 of the Ice Age
This world is known as the Little Ice Age. As the planet rapidly freezes under the influence of ice factors, both the land and humanity mutate. People begin to awaken their abilities at age 20. Anyone who has not manifested a bonded beast by the age of 22 is an ordinary person.
Ordinary people can only struggle to survive in safe cities. Bonded beasts come in two types: offensive and support.
In this world, it is the ability users who lead ordinary people in their struggle to survive.
For now, I still like it, and I hope it won't be too unfinished or stretchy in the future.
