Shadow of the Lord of the Mysteries: A Traveler Beyond Fate

The bronze mirrors of the Gear Tower reveal a bizarre truth: his memory chip records an era that was never written. The differential engines of the Zaratul Family churn out bloodstained gears, each engraved with a variation of the honorific name “The Fool.” Night-Scented Herb badges burn Sequence corruption into the Blasphemy Slate, while at the end of the steel cables dangling from the Church of Steam and Machinery’s airship, a mechanical eye belonging to a cardinal holds the sleeping stirrings of the Door Pathway.

Forty-nine bronze mirrors roar in unison, reflecting all the honorific names he might bear:

“Sower of the Mechanical Womb, Observer of the Starry Stirring, Heir to the Black Emperor’s legacy...”

“Usurper of the flame, one who does not belong to this era.”

Aboard a hidden ship where steam and flesh intertwine, a compass pieced together from the remains of a pocket watch points toward the ultimate destination. There lie the poison of the Sefirot buried by the watchmaker, and something awaiting birth in Ailin’s mechanical womb, something capable of devouring the Sequence Pathways...
