The Strange Affairs Bureau Files

A retired special forces soldier born with Yin-Yang Eyes is drawn into a two-thousand-year-old mystery of immortality. Amid strange incidents, he uncovers the truth about his past and present lives.

This world is far more complicated than it seems.

Some things defy scientific explanation: sobbing in the middle of the night, shadows on the wall, another face in the mirror. The authorities never admit they exist, but one department is tasked with dealing with these “nonexistent” things.

The Special Affairs Investigation and Response Division, or the Unusual Affairs Division for short.

It is hidden beneath Security Bureau's Seventh Division and publicly known as the “Center for Folklore Studies.” The first three floors handle ordinary inquiries. Six floors underground conceal the real secrets: files that move on their own, a containment zone for anomalous beings, and a silver-haired man who has lived for over a thousand years.

No one knows how long this organization has existed. All anyone knows is that people have been handling these matters since the Qin Dynasty.
