Honkai Impact 3rd: Lu Mingfei's Journey Home

(This isn't the plot of the Intrinsic World. You can think of it as a parallel world. It's not Honkai Impact 2, not Honkai Impact 2. It only borrows some characters from Honkai Impact 2, and takes place within the Tree Sea system.)

Honkai is a calamity born alongside civilization. On January 23, 2025, an unprecedented Great Honkai erupted. Ninety percent of the world's population vanished, while beings known as Herrschers descended upon the earth to test civilization.

A boy from another world, named Lu Mingfei, stood atop the ruins and won battle after battle alongside more than a dozen warriors, until a powerful Herrscher arrived. Only then did he understand the price of becoming a savior: the first step was losing something, followed by losing more and more.

The journey to pursue the flame is one of unending loss. If you're ready, then move forward once more.

“Sister Elysia, where are you all? I... can't find you.”

“Even at the end of the story, I'm still all alone. I have nothing left to lose now, so come on, let's see who wins! █████”

At last, the giant dragon the boy had become let out a mournful cry and fell into a long slumber on the moon alongside his comrades. Thus, humanity entered the Post-Honkai era...

Elsewhere, the boy who had once fallen awoke in a familiar yet unfamiliar alley. What kind of journey awaits him now?
