Lantern Festival Joy

On the Lantern Festival night of the thirteenth year of Xiangning, physician Lan Qingdai’s family was arrested and stripped of their home and possessions. Taking her personal maid with her, she headed to the capital to seek refuge with her third grandaunt. Meanwhile, the emperor’s unpopular third son, Yan Enyi, was far away in Nanyun. His mother, Consort Rou, had fallen ill after Consort Jin framed her. On his way back to the capital, Yan Enyi was pursued by assassins and crossed paths with Qingdai, who saved him. The two grew to understand and cherish each other, fought their way to the top together, and ultimately found their happy ending.
