Astral-Track Metropolis: Beneath the modern city lie twenty-eight “Celestial Nodes,” each corresponding to one of the twenty-eight lunar mansions. Every subway station is an entrance to an astral gate.
Divine Proxy System: Agents of the gods must wear “Heavenly Mechanism Chains” to suppress their divine power. Overuse causes astral corruption, crystallizing parts of the body.
Ancient Divine Beast Ecology: The Azure Dragon commands spring thunder, the White Tiger presides over autumn judgment, the Vermilion Bird wields summer flames, and the Black Tortoise guards the winter underworld. Each has taken human form and gone into hiding in one of the four meteorological bureaus.
