The Primordial Wilderness is the birthplace of the evil gods. Each has their own paradise or territory, and fighting over territory is the evil gods’ most pressing headache.

So the Mother Tree started a business war among the evil gods! It sent out its most beloved child, whom it had spent ages nurturing!

And so Chi Tang, his memories in disarray, is dropped into enemy territory. The System tells the unmotivated Chi Tang that if he wants to go home, he has to stick with the protagonist and follow the plot. Looking at his part as a minor, transparent cannon fodder character, Chi Tang reluctantly agrees.

But later, when Chi Tang sees the different versions of the Boss in the various instances, he falls silent.
