While making a delivery, courier Lin Jiuxiao’s GPS malfunctioned in a rainstorm, leading him by mistake to No. 19 Waitanyuan. It looked like an old Republican-era mansion, but was actually the East China branch of the “Mystic Arts Administration.” The “Ancient Desolate Sacred Body” lying dormant within him unexpectedly awakens, drawing him into a war between agents of the Three Realms. When a Mount Shu sword cultivator holding a Starbucks cup chases a Maoshan talisman master driving a Tesla along the Yan’an Elevated Road, Lin Jiuxiao discovers that the bronze Taotie-patterned insulated box in his delivery bag is actually the long-lost “Nine Li Demon-Refining Pot,” lost for a thousand years.
