On New Year's Eve, my husband and I got into an argument over his sister-in-law.

The reason was that she had bought his mother a big gold necklace,

while I, the younger daughter-in-law, hadn't given her anything.

My husband thought I'd made him lose face in front of his family.

I didn't let him get away with it.

I said, "You never even gave me a bride price."
