Mo Yuan was born in an ordinary fishing village. After saving a dying old man, he was given the Tribulation Ruins Pearl, which contained the remnant soul Xu Ling. It guides him as he cultivates the Reverse Fate Art. The Nine Heavens Domain is divided into the Lower Three Heavens (the Mortal Realm, the Cultivation Realm, and the Ancient Demon Realm), the Middle Three Heavens (the Immortal-Demon Battlefield, the Primordial Stars, and the Netherworld), and the Upper Three Heavens (the Tribulation Ruins Origin, the Chaos Ancestral Court, and the Eternal Other Shore). To ascend through each domain, he must overcome the Heavenly Chasm Tribulation.
