I Save the World by Dreaming in the Apocalypse

The first year after Earth thawed, all of humanity started to lie flat and give up.

Only Chu Jin kept pushing himself to the extreme.

By day, he was a therapist using cutting-edge technology to treat trauma, with the city’s wealthy lining up to climb the stairs to heaven for a consultation.

By night, he secretly built a space ark capable of carrying all of humanity. Supposedly, the idea had come to him in an unspeakable dream.

Ling Feng never forgot that snowy night:

When he dug the bloodied young man out of a garbage heap, the first thing the other said was, “The way your eyes nearly pop out of your head is exactly how I picture my future assistant.”

Later, he took a knife meant for Brother Xiao for this man, built an antigravity ship, and even crawled into patients’ nightmares as a dog. Literally.

When a mysterious patient brought a doomsday prophecy about “shadows devouring the moon,”

when psychological treatment revealed the deepest wounds in the human consciousness,

humanity finally realized:

The madman who had been criticized for pushing himself too hard for ten years

was weaving a final web of salvation in the silent depths of space.
