This book is a collection of five horror stories about mirrors. The first, "Mirror Marks," depicts several troubled relationships between men and women. Twisted, obsessive love leads to a series of gruesome deaths. The second, "Midnight: Whatever You Do, Don't Stand in Front of the Mirror..." begins with a terrifying game said to be popular on campus. After a group of girls in a dorm take part, they begin dying one by one in horrific ways, gradually revealing the story of their past and present lives. The third, "The Fogged Mirror," is a story about a spirit-summoning game. Members of the school's paranormal club summon a spirit in an abandoned school building, but forget to send it away, triggering a series of terrifying deaths. The fourth, "The Cold Mirror," is a story about a child. A building stands on the ruins of an old foundling home, where countless mirrors have supernatural powers. The spirits in the mirrors that drag souls away become Anka's nightmare. The fifth, "The Old Mirror," is narrated in the first person and recounts the short, tragic life of a spirit in a mirror.
