Surrounded by Handsome Beasts

A bitter cold sweeps through the mountains, leaving the Silver Wolf Tribe facing a food shortage and a fight for survival. Lin Wan, who knows how to farm and preserve food, unexpectedly arrives in this primitive tribal world and becomes the key to overcoming their plight. She puts down roots in the Silver Wolf Tribe with potato seeds and agricultural know-how, teaching the people to clear fields and store food. At the same time, she forges deep bonds with the tribal warriors Yin Lie and Feng Yi. Yin Lie protects her with a beastfolk's strength, and the warmth of his hand can always dispel danger. Feng Yi takes tender care of her day to day, with herbs and wild fruit always on hand as thoughtful gestures.

From standing up to Mo Lin, the chief of the Blackscale Tribe who abducted her, to resolving tensions between the two tribes and joining forces against a blizzard; from welcoming the homeless White-Eared Tribe to working together as three tribes to cultivate farmland and celebrate the harvest, Lin Wan uses her kindness and wisdom to unite scattered tribal communities. She transforms the cold winter into a warm season of life together. Waves of grain in the fields, bonfires in wooden homes, hot porridge in the dead of night, and whispers at her bedside bear witness not only to the primitive tribes' transformation and survival, but also to the tender love Lin Wan shares with Yin Lie and Feng Yi, a love that transcends tribe and circumstance. When spring planting and autumn harvest become a pact among the three tribes, and protection and companionship fill their days and nights, Lin Wan finally understands that these mountains, once a source of fear, have become the eternal home she built with love and trust.
