Modern cardiothoracic surgeon Shi Wan transmigrates into a book, the novel The Spoiled Side Character Gets Thrown into the Sea to Feed the Sharks by the Arrogant Campus Heartthrob. As Si Jingyao's sworn rival, Shi Feiyu passionately pursues the male lead, Si Jingyao.
What she doesn't know is that Si Jingyao's heart already belongs to Ye Qingcheng, the heroine of the original novel. In the face of Shi Feiyu's enthusiasm, Si Jingyao remains cold and distant.
One day, the overbearing campus heartthrob Si Jingyao suddenly seems possessed and starts pursuing the side character, Shi Feiyu.
In a dim corner, Si Jingyao blocks Shi Feiyu's way. “Didn't you say you liked me? You gave up after chasing me for this little while?”
Shi Feiyu waves a hand. “Your destined one isn't me anyway, so I might as well give up now.”
The man sneers inwardly: Hmph. Don't think I don't know that pretending to pursue me is your latest trick.
Sure enough, Shi Feiyu doesn't fall for him, but he falls into her trap first.
Si Jingyao: “Um, I'm really easy to win over. How about giving it another try?”
When she remains unmoved,
Si Jingyao panics. “Forget it. I won't hold it against you. I can pursue you instead.”
