Empresses in the Palace: Fucha Guiren Reborn, Defying Fate

[Empresses in the Palace fanfiction + Fucha Guiren reborn + palace intrigue + no villainizing Zhen Huan + happy endings for An Lingrong, Zhen Huan, and Shen Meizhuang]

Fucha Guiren was driven mad by Zhen Huan's tale of being made into a human swine. The emperor ordered her confined to her quarters, where she spent the rest of her life in a daze in that tiny room, little more than a living corpse.

When she opened her eyes again, Fucha Yixin found herself back on the day she entered the palace after the selection.

Remembering how she'd ruined a winning hand in her previous life, she resolved to change her fate now that Heaven had given her another chance. She would avoid disaster, save the child who had yet to be born in her previous life, and protect herself.

She didn't want the emperor's fickle affection, only a higher rank.

No fighting with other women for a man, no saintly behavior, and no jealousy over an old man. When it's time to act, she acts!

*The story is based mainly on the TV drama, with more detail added to Fucha Guiren's family background. Her name is Fucha Yixin. She befriends An Lingrong and no longer targets Zhen Huan.
