The Nine Heavens Xuanhuang Tribulation: I Wield the Wheel of Fate to Slay the Heavenly Dao

The day his dantian was destroyed, Han Tianque glimpsed the truth beyond the Ninth Heaven while lying in a pool of blood:

The so-called Great Xuanhuang Tribulation, which came once every three thousand years, was nothing but a cyclical deception through which the Heavenly Dao devoured all living beings.

The Profound Insight True Eye awakened in his right eye could unravel the laws of all things, but each use demanded a sacrifice of his lifespan;

The incomplete Primordial Dao Seed within him could fuse the Three Thousand Great Daos, yet drew the covetous attention of immortals and demons across the heavens.

As the twelve soul lamps in his sea of consciousness went out one by one,

As the demon sect’s Holy Maiden offered him a red lotus of karmic fire to prolong his life,

As an ancient sword spirit revealed the fate of slaying Heaven borne by the Dao Seed,

Han Tianque gripped his broken evil-slaying sword and carved an inscription to the Heavenly Dao deep inside a dry well:

“This life, I will make the immortals and gods of the Nine Heavens endure tribulations,

And make that supreme Heavenly Dao

Taste what it is like to have the wheel of fate shattered!”
